Experience
I assisted the room lead in both the baby and toddler room. Duties included following policies and procedures, setting up and leading fun activities through the day, changing and feeding, and weekly planning.
I built strong connections with my key children and their families and planned activities to help them reach their next steps. I used the Famly app to log observations, photos, nappy changes, mealtimes, and contact family members.
Acting as children’s in loco parentis over their stay at summer camp. Organising and leading a range of activities, including dance, crafts, paddle-boarding, and archery. Following a schedule and ensuring timekeeping and child safety as children engaged in activities and walked around camp. Keeping children’s family members informed of their progress at camp with weekly letters and phone calls.
