There is little doubt that Italy is one of the top destinations for English teachers from both home and abroad. Fortunately, there is currently an abundance of TEFL job in Italy, with a range of different positions in this popular, scenic and culturally appealing country.
A previous lack of ESL teachers has seen the country fall behind in terms of English learning when compared to its northern neighbours Switzerland and Austria. Recent government reforms, however, have now seen the subject pushed to the forefront of the education agenda.
